I have always had a passion for real estate but was caught up in the corporate world for 27 years. Obtaining my Bachelors of Science in Business and Masters in Management, I was surely going to climb the corporate ladder. My world was rocked when the announcement was made we were merging with our main competition. When the dust settled and the merger happened, the layoffs began. Well sadly my position was eliminated, even after achieving sales rep of the year the previous year. Ironically, I passed my real esate exam on the same day this announcement was delivered. Needless to say, I was destined to be in real estate. Now I knew it was all or nothing for me in this industry. I took everything I learned from the corporate world and from college and applied it to my real estae career. After being told I would not get my first sale for 6 months or a year, I got my first sale in 3 weeks of obtaing my license. My career just took off from there.
My desire to assist families achieve their dream of homeownership drove me to push harder. The feeling of handing the keys at closing to the very first family at the title company made me emotional and I knew this was my true passion.
